DETOUR EXHIBITION IN PARIS 24th April-19th May 2008
Detour arrives in Paris on April 24th. This collective wandering exhibition allows you to discover the Moleskine notebooks made by more than 30 artists, writers, designers and illustrators who are renowned internationally.
After London and New York, where the exhibition met with great success, the next stop is at the boutique Printemps Design at the Centre Pompidou, Paris, before taking the route again to Berlin, Venice, Istanbul…. At each new stop it attracts new artists having a special bond with the city it takes place in.
More importantly, there will be Detour Asia in 2008-2009 and the launch of Hong Kong and Beijing City notebooks in the coming June.

This collection of extremely personal Moleskine notebooks is displayed in transparent boxes to allow visitors to leaf through them, after wearing white cotton gloves. Visitors may leaf through the personal Moleskine notebooks of artists, designers, architects, illustrators and writers, including the most famous product designer Ron Arad, fashion designers Christian Lacroix and Eric Bergère ( ex-designer for Hermès) and singer songwriter Zazie.
myDetour is a Moleskine roadshow for various Moleskiner communities and for everyone who loves to paint, take photos, illustrate, write or create freely in their Moleskine notebooks. It is an opportunity to show off your own notebook (on and off line), to share your creative experiments to the world.
All notebooks received are considered by the jury, and the best are put on public display at the next myDetour event. Whoever send in the notebook judged to be best of all will be invited to the opening of the next show.
